An aparthotel with a spa in Szklarska Poręba, developed around the historic Villa Sylva in the Biała Dolina district. The project combines apartment accommodation, leisure and recreation with architecture inspired by the villa character of the Karkonosze region.
Czarny Kamień Resort & SPA is an aparthotel in the Biała Dolina district of Szklarska Poręba. The development was created around the historic Villa Sylva, dating from the late nineteenth century, combining the restored villa with new apartment buildings.
The programme includes apartments, spa and wellness facilities, swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, a restaurant, café, children's playroom and conference facilities. The architecture of the new buildings continues the scale and character of the historic villa while meeting the contemporary functional requirements of a hotel-and-apartment development.
The project demonstrates the practice's experience in delivering complex leisure developments in the Karkonosze region — from working with a historic context and resort functions to supporting the commercial appeal of the investment.
